Tuesday, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to inaugurate the first Vande Bharat Express, he staged a roadshow. In order to welcome him to the city, the Prime Minister waved his hands to the large gathering by the roadside. Modi held a massive roadshow in Kochi in addition to his two-day visit to Kerala, which began on Monday. Modi strolled around the streets of Kochi while wearing traditional clothing from Kerala.
On both sides of the street, people lined up to support the prime minister. On Tuesday at 11:10 a.m., Modi signalled the departure of the state’s first Vande Bharat train between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasargod from Thiruvananthapuram Central Station.
He later travelled to Kochi, where he on Tuesday inaugurated the nation’s first water metro. The train will travel through 11 districts, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, and Kozhikode, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
