Inspire Awards Manak Online Registration 2020-2021 have resumed from 1st June 2020. Since students not able to attend schools due to COVID-19 Department of Science and Technology (DST) has encouraged them their generation of innovative ideas which can be submitted to the online portal www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in official website
The million minds augmenting national aspirations and knowledge (MANAK) programme launched byDepartment of Science and Technology (DST) in partnership with the National Innovation Foundation (NIF) in 2017. So It emphasizes on the power of ideas in young minds to create a pipeline of innovative students who can recognize problems and find solutions to them.
Inspire Awards Manak Online Registration 2020-2021
More than 3.8 lakh students from all States and Union Territories of the country have submitted their ideas in 2019, and the number is increasing every year. Out of these, a few are provided with financial support of Rs 10,000 each for developing prototypes.
After a series of DLEPC (District Level Exhibition and Project Competition) & subsequent SLEPC (State Level Exhibition and Project Competition). Also, some of them selected for to exhibit their ideas at a national level competition.
Who can apply
Any student studied class 6th to 10th at any recognized school, government or private, aided or unaided eligible to apply at www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in
- Awareness and capacity building of district, state and school level functionaries across the country through regional workshops, audio-visual tools literature
- Organizing internal idea competition in schools and nominations of two three best original ideas, in any indian language, by the respective principal/ headmaster online through E-MIAS portal
Also Registration of new/unregistered schools on E-MIAS portal, Shortlisting of top 1,00,000 (one lakh) ideas, with potential to address societal needs through science & technology by NIF and Disbursement of Inspire award of INR 10,000 to the accounts of shortlisted students through direct benefit transfer scheme
