Following some adjustments, Dunki—which is scheduled for publication on December 21—was awarded a U/A certificate. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) requested that the film’s producers include anti-smoking health advertisements at the beginning of the picture, according to a Bollywood Hungama report. It also instructed the filmmakers to include this before the second part of the movie starts, in the midst of the movie.
As per the claim, near the beginning of the movie, a word was “suitably” changed to “immigrants.” The parts where Shah Rukh Khan’s character Hardy rides a horse while wearing a uniform before his wedding were also “appropriately” altered prior to the intermission. The statutory warning, “Suicide is not a solution to any problems,” was also inserted at a crucial scene.
Documentary evidence supporting the figures and other information revealed at the end of the film was also submitted by the Dunki team. On December 15, Dunki was awarded a U/A certificate. The study states that the movie is 161.24 minutes long, as stated on the censor certificate. Dunki lasts for two hours, forty-one minutes, and twenty-four seconds.
