Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has announced ex gratia for the victims of chamoli electrical accident. Prime Minister Office tweet i.e ” An ex gratia of Rs.2 Lakh from PMNRF would be given the next of kin of each of those who lost their lives in the tragic mishap in chamoli. The injured would be given Rs.50,000: PM Narendramodi.
The number of fatalities from the blast in the Chamoli district on Wednesday rose to 17. Officials reported that a transformer explosion on the Alaknanda River’s banks also resulted in multiple injuries. According to reports, the dead were employees of the Namami Gange project.
