Rakhi informs Nidhi that by giving Shaurya so much freedom that he lacks moral awareness, she is not doing him any favours. Nidhi is surprised to meet Rakhi. She claims to Nidhi, while experiencing nostalgia, that Preeta would never have permitted Shaurya to stray.
When Rakhi mentions Preeta, Nidhi becomes upset and tells her that although she is grateful to Preeta for giving birth to Shaurya, she has been Shaurya’s mother for the past 20 years.
