Latest figures announced MOHFW GOI India’s COVID-19 Total Cases Tally 96,169 and Death Toll Over 3000. Across India no.of active cases climb to 56316. At present the cases very close to one lakh mark, recovery rate is hardly 37 percentage. According to the latest report 36823 COVID Patients have recovered so far.
In last 24 hours Inida witnessed the biggest single day spike in Corona Virus with over 5,242 new positive cases being reported. Due to heavy spikes Indian Government already extended the lock down period till May 31st.

Lock Down Extended up to 31st May states to decided various zones & activities within zones. Within the containment zones, no movement of persons allowed except essential goods & services
Outside containment zones, all activities permitted except allowed except essential goods & services. Activities permitted with restrictions (except containment zones). Inter-state movement of buses/ passenger vehicles of buses/ passenger vehicles with mutual consent of states/ UTs. Also, intra-state movement of buses/passenger vehicles as decided by state/UTs. Movement of stranded people including migrants, students etc.allowed, movement of stranded indians abroad to continue.
In this lock down 4.0 govt announces activities prohibited throughout country i.e Travel by air, rail metro except as permitted by MHA, Educational institutions online/distance learning permitted. Hospital Services including hotels and restaurants, cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, etc and public gatherings (social/ political/ cultural/ religious), All religious places closed for worship, religious congregations prohibited.
Also, govt mention protection for vulnerable persons i.e persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women, and children below the age of 10 years, shall stay at home, except for meeting essential requirements and for health purpose
Also, govt prohibited movement of individual between Night 7 to Morning 7.
