Delhi Police provides new information regarding the security breach at the Parliament

Prior to deciding to use smoke canisters to jump into the Lok Sabha’s chamber, the five accused individuals detained in the December 13 Parliament security breach case, according to Delhi Police, had considered self-immolation and leaflet distribution. The Special Cell of Delhi Police, which is looking into the matter, also intends to record BJP MP Pratap Simha’s account, as he gave the go-ahead for the visiting cards that allowed the two individuals who broke security to enter the House.

The security breach at Parliament was painstakingly planned for several months prior to its implementation on the anniversary of the terrorist attack against Parliament in 2001. During Zero Hour, Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D leap from the public gallery into the Lok Sabha chamber. Before the MPs subdued them, they screamed anti-establishment slogans and let off yellow gas from canisters.

Before deciding to rush into the Lok Sabha chamber, a Delhi Police official who was aware of the investigations told PTI that they had looked into a few effective ways to communicate their message to the government.
