Government of Andhra Pradesh Department of Grama Volunteers/ Ward Volunteers And Village Secretariats/ Ward Secretariats invites online application for Grama Volunteers/ Village Volunteers vacancies due to unauthorized absence, irregular in attending duties and some have resigned their job during the crisis of outbreak of COVID-19.
Online application forms of Grama Volunteers accepted from 20th April 2020, Receipt of application is 20th April 2020 to 24th April 2020, Scrutiny of applications by is 25th April 2020, Interview by selection committees 27th April 2020 to 29th April 2020, Positioning of Volunteers is 1st May 2020.
AP Grama Volunteers Recruitment 2020 Qualifications
Applicants from tribal areas qualified 10th class, From rural areas applicants should qualify Inter and Urban areas applicants completed a degree from government-approved schools/ colleges/ universities. Also, applicants should be residents of the same panchayat in case of rural or same municipalities in the case of urban.
Age limit shall be of at least 18 years of age as on 01.01.2020 and shall have not exceeded 35 years.
Selection Process
Selection process based on an interview.
- Should have knowledge on various government schemes, programs, welfare activities- 25 marks
- Previous Work Knowledge on various government welfare departments and programs/ NGOs/Federations/Social Activities- 25 marks
- Leadership qualities, good communication skills and general awareness- 25 marks
- Soft skills- 25 marks
