Across India 548 districts lockdown due to covid-19 says PIB India

548 districts lockdown in India. on 23rd March 2020 at 2130 hrs Press Information Burea (PIB) released a summary i.e State/UTs with a lockdown on all districts and states/ UTs with the closure of certain areas because of Covid-19. So citizens from lockdown states/ districts follow the orders of state government and central government.

In India covid-19 cases 446 active covid-19 cases are reported, 9 death cases reported.

States/ UT with complete lockdown- 30 (548 districts)

State/ UTs with some districts lockdown-3 (58 districts) {UP-16, MP-37 districts, Odisha 5 districts + 6 municipal jurisdictions}

Partial lockdown-1 (1 district) {Lakshadweep- 1 district-movement of passenger ships only banned;- section 144 cr PC imposed)

States/ UTs Yet to issue order-2 (12 districts), Sikkim (4), Mizoram (8)};

Covid-19 Kerala Update 23rd March 2020

The government of Kerala also announced a complete state lockdown because of the outbreaking novel coronavirus. So lockdown in the entire state of Kerala with immediate effect till 31.03.2020 at 24.00 hrs people follow these regulations and measures during the period

1). Not more than one adult person will be permitted in private vehicle excluding the person driving the vehicle

2). More than 5 persons in public are prohibited including ones relating to festivals, religious and social gatherings.

The following shops/ establishments providing essential goods and services shall be excluded from the above restrictions

a). Bank/ ATMs

b). Print and electronic media

c). Telecom, Postal and internet services

d). Supply chain and transport of essential commodities
